Upali's
Menu categories

Three ways the category names could read

The same menu, the same colours. Only the category lettering changes. The one underlined in green is the category a customer is looking at.

NowWhat the site uses today

Caveat, a handwriting face. It carries the character of the menu, but at this small size the category names are the hardest thing on the page to read quickly.

Chapter 05

Chicken

Option 1Rounded and warm

Softly rounded letter ends. Still friendly and hand-made in feeling, but every word reads at a glance.

Chapter 05

Chicken

Option 2Clean and neutral

The plainest of the three. Quietest on the page, and the easiest to read at any size.

Chapter 05

Chicken

Option 3Fully rounded

The most rounded of the three, closer to a soft geometric shape. The friendliest, and the furthest from the current handwriting.

Chapter 05

Chicken

One smaller question

Further down the menu, each category also has a large heading above its dishes. That one can stay in the handwriting, or match whichever font you pick.

A · Keep it handwritten

Chicken

Keeps the personal, handwritten feel of the menu.
B · Match the new font

Chicken

Plainer and more uniform all the way down.

Just tell us a number for the lettering, and A or B for the big headings. Nothing is live yet, so take your time.
